Taylor Swift is Already Breaking Records with “Look What You Made Me Do”
Taylor Swift is back and with her return to music comes a bunch of records for her to completely shatter. Her latest single”Look What You Made Me Do” off of her upcoming album Reputation has already broken streaming records on both Spotify and YouTube.
The single broke the Spotify record by receiving more than 8 million streams on its first day and grabbed more than 19 million views on YouTube in the same amount of time as reported by The Associated Press. Billboard is also predicting that Look What You Made Me Do” could sell 500,000 digital copies in its first week, which the biggest sales week since Adele’s 2015 hit “Hello”. “Look What You Made Me Do” has already sold more downloads in a single day than any song has sold in a week in the past six months, which is a true testament to the power of Swift.
The song’s music video will be released during the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night.
