‘The Division 2’ Beta Has A Date

For all of you Division agents hiding in your bunkers, holed up waiting for any news on when reinforcements arrive, your day has come. Ubisoft finally announced when you will be able to try The Division 2, and it is right around the corner. For those who pre-order or register for the limited spaces, the test will begin on February 7th and extend to the 10th.

Not much is known as to how much the beta will entail, what locations it will include, or if you may be able to take any progression into the full release. We do know there was a very limited alpha, and those who got in were held to an NDA agreement, so we really do not know what to expect, besides that the alpha apparently played well.

Besides the beta dates being announced, Ubisoft also released a story trailer for the game, which I will post below (Caution: May contain inappropriate content) –

The trailer speaks to the agency surviving the virus outbreak and weathering the factions of New York, but going from the frying pan into the fire by trekking to Washington DC. The country is weak and in the midst of what some may call a civil war, and it is up to Division agents to take back control.

The Division 2 looks exciting, but it will be fighting against more than just fascists. Anthem releases their demo a week before The Division 2’s test, and Devil May Cry V’s newest demo will release the same day. Anthem will also release a few weeks ahead of The Division 2, with DMCV just a week before. This spring is loaded with titles, but hopefully the sheer variety in them will lead to profitability for all of these games.

The Division 2 will launch March 12th for Gold and Ultimate editions and March 15th for all others on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. All pre-orders at this time will grant beta access, so jump on your devices digital storefront or to your nearest brick and mortar!
