The Flash: Fastest Strongest Hero in DC Universe?
Spoiler Alert: This article reveals details about The Flash issue #54.
There is a major change for everyone’s favorite speedster, Barry Allen, in the #54 issue of The Flash. According to the synopsis teasing issue #53, Barry is about to become the fastest and the Strongest hero in DC’s universe. Apparently, Barry receives a jolt from a new force. It may eventually be linked back to the cosmic changes brought about by the Source Wall that shattered in Dark Nights: Metal. Although there are no indications that there is a “strength force” i.e. a force that influences strength, we cannot rule out that possibility.
The change comes in Barry’s arc appropriately called the “Grips of Strength” which is set to kick off in August with issue #52. The story revolves around the Flashes of 52 different worlds, Trickster (who has a showdown with Barry inside Iron heights in a battle for utter supremacy), Warden Wolfe of Iron Heights Penitentiary (who may or may not have planned the battle between Trickster and Barry), and Commander Cold; who is currently featuring in Flash War. It seems that the warden may have a hand in Barry’s new super strong status-quo.
The Flash #54 is expected to hit the shelves on September 12, 2018 and will ship with two covers. It is written by Joshua Williamson, art is by Christian Duce, cover by Dan Mora, and the variant cover is by Howard Porter. And it will only cost you $3.99 US.
