The Good Doctor is back this week and on Monday night’s episode, we will get introduced to a new doctor at San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital.
It doesn’t seem like this new doctor is here to play nice. The below preview shows that she is less than thrilled to be working alongside Dr. Shaun Murphy and that she has no intentions of hiding her feelings towards him. We are also going to get to see Shaun interacting with his new neighbor played by Chris D’Eila.
In addition to Dr. Murphy trying to make new friends, the official synopsis for Monday’s episode titled She tells us that Shaun will be dealing with the family of a transgender patient. When his patient’s family thinks they know what’s best for her, it’s going to be up to Shaun to understand what she really needs.
Check out the preview and official synopsis below:
“Dr. Shaun Murphy is surprised to learn that his young cancer patient identifies as a girl while being biologically male. Shaun must quickly learn to understand his patient, her medical needs and how to work with her family, who all feel they know what is best for her.”
