The Synopsis for ‘Black Widow’ may Have Leaked
Fans all over the world were delighted to hear that Marvel Studios was going ahead with a Black Widow movie after waiting for a long while to know if it was really going to push through.
Scarlett Johansson will still play her role as the widow, and that is exciting enough. This week, a synopsis was leaked and many believe it could be the one.
A Black Widow fan seems to have leaked an image of the following synopsis on Twitter,
“At birth, the Black Widow (aka Natasha Romanova) is given to the KGB, which grooms her to become its ultimate operative. When the U.S.S.R. breaks up, the government tries to kill her as the action moves to present-day New York, where she is a freelance operative. The standalone film will find Romanoff living in the United States 15 years after the fall of the Soviet Union.”

If this is the real synopsis, it would make sense.
Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Clark Gregg as Agent Coulson appear in the ’90s-era Captain Marvel, so this means it is also possible that the film will feature them. It could also mean that they will focus on how Black Widow becomes recruited to S.H.I.E.L.D.
We know for sure that Cate Shortland will direct the film, and that Jac Schaeffer wrote the script. Keep your eyes here for a release date that is sure to be announced soon!
