‘The Walking Dead’ Alum Chandler Riggs is Back on the Set of ABC’s ‘A Million Little Things’

ABC’s new hit drama A Million Little Things is back in production for season two. The cast began filming at the end of last month, and a familiar guest star has returned to set for the continuation of one of the show’s most intriguing storylines. The Walking Dead alum Chandler Riggs is back in Vancouver filming additional episodes of the series for season two.

Series star Romany Malco recently posted a behind-the-scenes picture to his Instagram account of himself with Riggs and co-star Christina Moses. From the looks of the photo, the trio is having a great time filming the show’s second season.

Riggs also posted the below photo on his Twitter page. It’s a picture showing his chair on set with the caption, “feels so good to be back.”

Last season, Riggs guest-starred as PJ, “a young man whom Rome (played by Malco) meets. Like Rome, PJ has had some dark days, and their encounter proves meaningful to both of them in ways each of them doesn’t even fully realize at the time,” as described by TVLine.

The first season only appears to have scratched the surface of PJ’s storyline. Hopefully, we’ll get to see much more of Chandler Riggs in season two!

A Million Little Things features a critically-acclaimed ensemble cast led David Giuntoli, Ron Livingston, Romany Malco, and James Roday. The series also stars Stephanie Szostak, Allison Miller, Christina Moses, Grace Park, and Lizzy Greene. DJ Nash is the creator and executive producer; Aaron Kaplan, Dana Honor, and James Griffiths are executive producers. ABC Studios and Kapital Entertainment produce the series.

The show follows a group of friends who met by chance when their elevator got stuck. After hours of being trapped together and discovering a common bond over their love of the Boston Bruins, they walked away wholly changed and as new best friends. Fast forward to several years later; their friendship is still going strong despite each person having his own struggles. Everything comes to a screeching halt when one of their own unexpectedly and unfathomably commits suicide. The group is then forced to face their realities and to start living their lives to the fullest in honor of their lost friend.

A Million Little Things will hold on to its Thursday at 9 pm timeslot when the show returns for its second season premiering on September 26th.
