‘The Walking Dead’: Let’s Meet the New Judith and Henry

Come Sunday’s episode of The Walking Dead, two youngsters are going to be looking a bit older. Since the series is jumping forward six years, Judith and Henry are little no more and taking on more responsibilities and storylines in the back half of the season. So, before the episode airs, we thought we’d introduce you to Cailey Fleming and Matt Lintz (yep, another Lintz) – the new Judith and Henry!

Cailey Fleming as Judith Grimes

In what was one of the most iconic entrances on The Walking Dead to date, fans were treated to a six-year time jump through the introduction of Judith Grimes. The little ass-kicker is now a pint-sized ass-kicker, wielding Rick’s gun, a katana, and Carl’s hat. Basically, you don’t want to mess with her.

This new Judith will be played by the talented Cailey Fleming and let’s just say she’s a “force” to be reckoned with. Meaning, if Fleming looks somewhat familiar, that’s because she played young Rey in 2015’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

She also appeared on the big screen again in this year’s Peppermint with Jennifer Garner. Other credits for Fleming include FX’s Better Things, Hover, and The Book of Love.

Matt Lintz as Henry

One thing that’s certain? The time jump allowed The Walking Dead to perfectly cast their teenage Henry. Young Henry was played by Macsen Lintz, so who better to play him six years later than his older brother Matt? Matt Lintz marks the third Lintz sibling to appear on The Walking Dead. Madison Lintz played Carol’s daughter, Sophia, during seasons one and two.

Fans of TNT’s The Alienist will surely recognize Matt from his role as Stevie Taggart during season 1.

Other credits for Lintz include guest-starring roles on series such as Revolution, Banshee, and Sleepy Hollow. He also appeared in Jeremy Renner’s 2014 film Kill the Messenger and lent his voice to the character Matty Van Patten in 2015’s Pixels. We can’t wait to see what the family dynamic is like between Henry, Carol, and Ezekiel after all of these years.
