Title To Most Tweeted Upcoming Movie Goes To ‘Suicide Squad’

The movie isn’t even out yet and it already has a title on their name! Twitter has officially announced that Suicide Squad is the most tweeted summer movie in their social media.

Remember the Joker Twitter Emoji? That apparently helped boost the online conversation with the hashtag #JokerWasHere, that has been shared by Jared Leto himself to his 2.27 million fans. Not only that, but also a trailer has been released on Twitter by the official Suicide Squad Movie Twitter. This had more than 130,000 retweets and 170,000 likes.

Followed in that list is Finding Dory that will come out on June 17 with 869,000 tweets (and, come on, everyone has been waiting on this movie for ages!), Ghostbusters on July 22 with 565,000 tweets, Me Before You 329,00 tweets, the sequel of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows on June 3 with 251,000 tweets and, of course, Warcraft, the movie of the worldly popular video-game on June 10 with 244,000 tweets.

The two post high-profile movies on Twitter right now are Captain America: Civil War and X-Men: Apocalypse. The several Emojis they used for the Captain America movie have done its work with the #TeamCap and #TeamIronMan hashtags. They generated a good 10,4 million tweets in the whole time period. While X-Men is sitting on a 1.8 million.

If that isn’t amazing, I don’t know what is. Suicide Squad will be out in theatres on
