Spider-Man: Homecoming is just weeks away from swinging into theaters, and the Marvel fandom has been buzzing with excitement. While we still have the first in the series to look forward to, many fans are already anticipating the sequel to the web-slinging hero.
Recent news has hinted that Robert Downey Jr. wouldn’t be returning for the sequel, BUT another hero from the MCU would be making his appearance.
So, who could this Marvel Superhero be? Well, Tom Holland already seems to have his ideal partner in crime picked out!
In an interview with ScreenRant, Holland was asked which MCU hero he would like to see Spider-man team up with for the film’s sequel. He responded that he would most desire to share the screen with Paul Rudd (Antman).
“Yeah, Ant-Man would be my favorite.” Holland explained. “I want to have like a bug bros session. I think it’d be really cool.”
While nothing has been set in stone just yet, we can’t argue that this team-up would be incredibly amazing. Holland won over audiences when he made his debut as Peter Park in Captain America: Civil War, and Paul Rudd’s humor as Scott Lang has quickly became a fan favorite.
Would you like to see this team-up happen?
