Top 8 TV ‘Bromances’

While many people are fans of the romantic and ‘pairing’ concepts on TV shows, there is one thing that I feel like isn’t talked about enough… and they are the ‘Bromances’ of TV! I mean, as much as I adore couples moments on TV shows (cough Olicity cough), I also have a love for the brotherly moments between characters on the TV show.

Below I’ve compiled a list of 8 Bromances that I believe have significantly moved me, or I feel stand out amongst all others:

8. Joey and Chandler (Friends)

The friendship between Joey and Chandler definitely something to envy. Who knew that a pair could be so silly??

7. Dwight and Michael (The Office)

It may be one of the weirdest friendships ever, but it is definitely one that remained solid over the years. But then again, we are all a little weird in our own way, right?

6. Blake Shelton and Adam Levine (The Voice)

You may be thinking ‘Why two contest judges’? Well, for starters if you watch The Voice then you know that the banter between these two is absolutely hilarious and something to envy! Also, off screen Adam stood by Blake while he went through his divorce like a true brother would.

5. J.D and Turk (Scrubs)

It’s always a good thing to have a great relationship with your co-workers, but it is even greater when that relationship is at a brotherly level.

4. House and Wilson (House M.D)

House and Wilson are two co-workers who have definitely stood by each other through the good, the bad and the ugly. When Wilson was hospitalized, House made sure to be by his side. When House struggled with his addiction, Wilson was a consistent shoulder for House to lean on. Bottom line, the Bromance between these two is amazing.

3. Oliver Queen and John Diggle (Arrow)

This one is probably one of my favorite ‘Bromances’. Oliver and John have stood by each others side through it all, and no matter how many fall-outs they have, they always find a way to re-kindle their brotherly love for each other. This brotherhood is concrete, and no villain can break that.

2. Shawn Spencer and Burton Gustor (Psych)

Starting your own business is never quite that easy, but when you run it with your best friend since childhood you are definitely in for the ride of your life! Shawn and Gus have maintained an amazing ‘bromance’ since childhood, always being there for each other and having each others backs. When Shawn was at his lowest points in life, Gus was always there to pick him back up; and vice versa.

1. Sam and Dean (Supernatural)

For my Number One ‘Bromance’, I chose Sam and Dean. Why?? Well, when you literally go to hell and back for each other, I would say that earns you a number one spot on my list. (Especially considering that some brothers won’t even hold the door for you!). I know that they are actual brothers, but actual brothers are also capable of having a ‘Bromance’ in my books. The bond between these two is unbreakable, and something to be admired.
