Walker Wednesday: The Countdown to Walker Stalker Nashville is On

The countdown to Walker Stalker Nashville is on. In all honesty, for most of us, the countdown has been on for months now. From the moment you reserve your ticket online, join the groups on social media, and get your travel and hotel booked – it’s almost all you can think about. Not to mention, when announcements are made about new guests, photo ops going on sale, and people start posting pictures of their latest convention weekend or past events within our Fan Fest family – it makes it hard to do anything but focus on how many days are left.

If you don’t already have a countdown app on your phone – there are just 37 days left until we’re all surrounded by our Walking Dead family once again.

When we talk about the Walking Dead family, it’s not just a term that fans use – it’s a term that the celebrities in attendance use as well. From autograph lines and photo ops to running into your favorite celeb at a bar or while you’re getting your morning coffee; the experiences are one of a kind. There is nothing in the world like the bond between fans of TWD and the cast members who bring the characters to life.

The experience that James built when he brought his vision to life just a few years ago is something that you can’t accurately describe. We’ve been in attendance at other conventions, we’re sure you have as well, and they’re great. It’s always fun to step outside of your day to day life and into a place where you feel more yourself. The thing about Walker Stalker is, it’s got the added feeling of ‘home’.

In terms of ‘home’, while Atlanta is the hub for all things The Walking Dead, Fan Fest is based out of Nashville, so for us – this event is home. It’s in a city we love, surrounded by restaurants, coffee shops, and bars we frequent, with people we see in our day to day lives. Bringing an event to life in a city that means so much to us is important.

In fact, it’s so important to us that we did all we could to make sure you feel as at home in Nashville as we do. We wanted to make sure you love the city, as well as the experience, so we pulled out all the stops. The Nashville convention is at Music City Center, in the midst of the downtown Nashville scene, and it’s absolutely stunning. The guests are the ones you’ve asked for the most – we’ve got Norman and Jeffrey, Melissa and Khary, Jon and Steven, and even Scott and Lennie. There are panel plans in the works, interactive experiences, and opportunities for you to feel totally enveloped in all things undead.

If you haven’t purchased your ticket yet, do so here, and join us for what will easily go down in Walker Stalker history as one of the greatest convention weekends. We can’t wait to see you soon.
