Need to add a little ‘spice’ to your awesome day? How about a remake of one of Spice Girls’ most popular hits?
W Magazine brought together some big-named stars to create a dramatic reading of the popular tune, “Wannabe”, which was originally released in 1996 and is celebrating its 21 year anniversary. This ensemble ‘pop’ group includes Nicole Kidman, James Franco, Milo Ventimiglia, Jodie Cormer, Keri Russel, Riz Ahmed, Alexander Skarsgard, Millie Bobby Brown, Rupert Friend, Sanaa Lathan, Claire Foy, Johnny Flynn, and Brit Marling. The segment was directed by Lynn Hirschberg and is part of W Magazines Lyrical Improv series.
Each of them brings their own personalities into the reading. Kidman keeps things sexy and dramatic during her parts, Brown declares she is obsessed with the Spice Girls as she adds a little dance move to her section, Foy and Franco do their best to not bust out laughing, and Ahmed and Ventimiglia add some major coolness to their lines.
In a separate video, the actors were also asked to name their favorite Spice Girl. Most of the guys gravitated towards Baby Spice, while the ladies were fans of Posh Spice. Kidman even noted that she wore one of Victoria Beckham’s designs recently claiming, “this is heaven.”
A third hysterical clip captures the celebrities getting a good laugh as they attempt to get through their lines.

The performance also caught the eye of Beckham herself and she took to Twitter to show her love.
