Tell Me a Story “takes the world’s most beloved fairy tales and reimagines them as a dark and twisted psychological thriller. Set in modern-day New York City, the first season of this serialized drama interweaves “The Three Little Pigs,” “Little Red Riding Hood,” and “Hansel and Gretel” into an epic and subversive tale of love, loss, greed, revenge, and murder.” You can watch the full trailer below!

The trailer shows The Vampire Diaries alum Paul Wesley as Eddie, a drug-dealing thief whose addictions and problems go much deeper than the tumultuous relationship he has with his brother, Mitch. Parenthood’s Sam Jaeger will also appear as Tim, a recently widowed single father who moves him and his troubled daughter Kayla (The Originals’ Danielle Campbell) to NYC to live with his mother (Sex and the City’s Kim Cattrall). In addition, the series also stars James Wolk (Zoo), Billy Magnussen (Into the Woods), Dania Ramirez (Once Upon a Time),  Dorian Missick (Marvel’s Luke Cage), Michael Raymond-James (Once Upon a Time), and Davi Santos (Law & Order True Crime).

The series was created by Vampire Diaries and Scream’s Kevin Williamson, who will serve as executive producer. Liz Friedlander will direct the first two episodes.

Tell Me a Story premieres on Wednesday, October 31st on CBS All-Acces.
