WATCH: The Wizarding World of Harry Potter’s Magnificently Magical ‘Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle’

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter opened a little over a year ago and the park has even been giving Disney a run for its money.  Similar to those shown in Disney, on the night that the Universal theme park opened, a celebratory display of a laser light and projection show was shown up on the great Hogwarts Castle, fully illuminating the night sky.  The show brought a real sense of magic to an already magical world and, since that night, it has been in the works to make the show a permanent part of the park.

Well, it’s finally about to happen.  The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle is about to become a permanent attraction and Inside the Magic has shared video of one of the technical rehearsals for the show’s soft opening.

The new show shines a light, quite literally, on all four houses of Hogwarts school, Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and Slytherin, as well as displays many magical surprises throughout the whole 5 minute experience.

The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle is accompanied audio clips and, of course the famous music composed by none other than John Williams as well as some music composed specially for the light show.

The show is anticipated to have multiple viewings a night with live rehearsals expected to begin starting in June for annual pass holders. The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle is expected to officially open to the public on June 23rd.

Check out the stunning video below and try to imagine how impressive this must look in person.  We can’t wait to check out this show.  What do you think?  Let us know in the comments section below.
