WATCH: Wonder Woman’s Fierceness Comes to Life in Extended Featurette
We are literally hours away from Wonder Woman making her first solo feature film debut, nationwide. The excitement is killing us and we’re sure you are feeling the same way. To hold you over until the film’s release tomorrow, you definitely have to check out this extended featurette about the making of the film.
Director Patty Jenkins and actors Gal Gadot and Chris Pine and several of the films producers show us how this fierce and totally badass character is brought to life on the big screen.
“She is kind and loving and forgiving AND a badass!” says Jenkins in the 13 minute video. The video discusses setting the tone for Diana Prince’s (aka Wonder Woman) background story.
“The story is about Diana becoming Wonder Woman and owning it for the first time,” says Gadot speaking of her badass character finding her footing as the iconic superhero.
In addition to Wonder Woman’s origin, the featurette also touches upon Gal Gadot’s training for the role, the importance to showing Wonder Woman in a grand, cinematic view, Patty Jenkins’ directorial style and more.
This video will definitely get you amped up for the film! Wonder Woman starring Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Connie Nielsen and Elena Anaya will fly into theaters on June 2nd!
